Since TT06 has been paused, I finally had some time to look into some moderating matters.

Ponder vs Pigeon (single unlimited);
Erik vs Magrat;

Magrat vs Pigeon (1);

At some point I think Pigeon changed his/her name to Pidgeon, and there was confusion. Confusion still reigns, but I haven't heard from either of them.

Erik vs Magrat;

Erik pops in and out on about three-month headings. Havent heard from him either.

And no, it's quite alright, you do not need to post apologies. I get it, you didn't mean to, you misread, you didn't see it. Apologies accepted. Wink

Re: Messages from moderator

Druid

Hi Y'all,

First time ever since the Big Forum Jump, and I can tell you it took me some getting used to!
A couple of things I think you should know:
--(1): even for moderators, or administrators as they seem to be called in this drupal thing, it is not possible anymore to find out exactly what the date was for last post in any thread (there is actually, but I'm not going into that kind of trouble; too much work, trust me, it is), so any (incomplete)d games have the month and year they have been incompleted, instead of the month and year of last post.;
--(2): the editing text in incompleted games needed to be changed to:
--->edit by moderator, september 26, 2006: added (incomplete 09/06) to the topic. This addition and this edit can and will be removed by request of topic-starter. Please send a PM to any moderator, preferably Oograh Boike, for help with that.
because first: bold and italic type don't work anymore, hence the "--->" to make the edit instantly recognizable; and second: original posters can't edit their posts anymore, they will need help from administrators in doing that. Hmmm, maybe I should have changed the "moderator" to "administrator" as well... Ah well, damage done, will change that in future edits.;
--(3): since there's no exact date feature anymore (see (1)), I will use the weeks since last post to go by. Any unused and not finished topic dated over eight weeks, give or take (give mostly), will be incompleted from now on.;
--(4): besides a couple of other very cool things, this drupal forum has a nice feature the other one hadn't: nodes. I'm not in the mood (nor the place) to tell you the how and the what, but I'm going to use node numbers as well as topic names from now on, to help you find incompleted games. Yeah right, as if anyone is interested in finding incompleted games....

Right, having said that, I'm sorry to add to the list:
node/topic
290 - Godbatman vs Bugs
280 - Godbatman vs Palm
334 - tomo_cjt vs Mr Scrub
258 - Therul vs Ponder
223 - Windle Poons Vs Mystery Cat

Re: Messages from moderator

Druid

Hi Y'all,

Well, now it seems that there ARE dates for last post, so I will go back to the previous format of naming the month of last post, instead of month of (incomplete)d. I did not take the trouble of changing the few games that used to have month of (incomplete)d, I'm sure the few posts before this one will help with finding what and where they are.
Also: I have locked this thread so only admins can post in here.

This times list of (incomplete)d games:

node - topic name

397 - Nelly the Marrow vs thunderchild83
597 - Anyone fancy a game?
429 - Tompko vs Dearmer *
337 - Vanceone v. SANEAlex KVT
430 - Tompko vs Vlad042 *
466 - Windle Poons Vs Dearmer
572 - Oneiron V Windle Poons (Double, 30)
576 - Kuda Vs. Windle Poons
269 - Windle Poons Vs Ponder
581 - Mazur - Ponder (single unlimited)

* I must have read somewhere that Tompko has trouble with his connection, so I'm not sure about any of his games. But I can edit the games back to active once he comes back, so there should be no problem.
