Hosting the Thud website and creating te online game is an honour and privilege for the two of us. We are ever so fortunate to be able to work with some sterling people from the Thud partners to the site Druids to the wonderful people that make this community hum. We would give each of you a hug but the travel would probably knacker us (but you can always come to us!

We [url=http://forum.thudgame.com/viewtopic.php?t=225]have become conscious[/url] that the costs of hosting and development are adding up to a considerable sum thus, in consultation with several of the long-time members of the forum and the community, we have taken the step of adding a new page to the Thudgame site whereby community members can donate to [url=http://www.thudgame.com/game/donate.html]support Thudgame development[/url]. If you look closely you'll notice that it's more than give some money and.... that's it. No, none of that from us-- you get stuff! Cool stuff!! 
All donors will automatically become members of the Thudgame Founding Patrons Society. Inspired by the inestimable example of Dame Esmerelda Weatherwax in "Masquerade", Thudgame Founding Patrons will have their good deeds immortalised on their own site with their name in lights (or at [i]least[/i] in 1em sans-serif), a forum avatar WITH a small diamond displayed stating their patronage level and much more! We must re-iterate that any donation is totally voluntary and is not a requirement in any way to participate in the community. Playing the game will always be free of charge.
